Cal Evans is a computer programmer turned educator who spends his days teaching others to write code and his evenings learning about the craft spirits world. He’s not a distiller himself, just an enthusiastic fan with what his Uncle Mike calls “way too much knowledge about this stuff.”
Cal’s real passion is storytelling. He believes that behind every bottle is a person with a vision, a risk, and a tale worth telling. Hearts ‘n Tales gives him the chance to help small distillery owners share their journeys with people who appreciate the craft.
